day 95

It's been a month since i last updated my bible in one year project. but that doesn't mean i have stopped reading the bible. The project is still on going and up to this day, i have not yet missed a day without reading the bible. though i must admit that there are days that are really hard that i have to push myself so hard to read. but thankfully, i have not yet slept at night without me, reading the bible. The reason why i haven't updated is because my laptop broke down on me again. and this time it's not fixing itself. Ironically that happened before finals. Another reason is that i have been busy with school. Plus. I just really didn't have the time and the words to update. Since the  last post , which is a month ago, i have been through a lot in the bible. I have finished reading many books already. I was able to finish the books of Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth and Mark. As I am writing i have come a long way, since the last time i updated. To...

day 63

WOW It's March already :) Like nobody realizes that. :)) anyway. I am down to day 63 of my bible in one year project. :) Though i must admit that my energy is not the same as i first started reading but somehow I feel MORE energetic as days passes by. :) so as an update to my bible in one year project... last post :) As of today, I am in Numbers Chapter 33 and Mark Chapter 9 :) It's been 122 days since the last post where i have just finished the book of Leviticus and I am now in Chapter 33 of the next book. WOW. actually i knew i have gone far from where i started because now, from where i am reading... the israelites is almost at the promise land. YUP. FINALLY. after being oppressed by the Egyptians for soooooo long they have finally arrived the promise land :) you know what typing that i have come to a realization. And this what i want to talk about my realizations, not the events of what i have read because you can read those too for yourself so the realization. When ...

day 51

hi! imitating natalie tran's intro :P so i'm now down to day 51 of my bible readings which started last january 1 :) and to today i am still thankful to the grace of our dear Lord for not letting me miss a day without reading his words :) go here for the  last post as of today. i have officially read FOUR BOOKS in the bible. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and Matthew :) I'd never thought i would actually finish all 4 books in just short period of time. actually i am limiting myself to just reading what is for today so that i will read the bible everyday and not result to reading everything for the week in a one day sitting and not read the following days. Remember in the Lord's prayer? "Give us THIS DAY our DAILY BREAD" Jesus taught us to pray like that and not "give us food for the rest of the week and next week when the food is all gone i will pray again and ask you again" NOPE. he wants us to pray everyday. every time. he wants us to tell it al...

day 43 well, 44

Hello there *baby james version* It's my 43rd day, technically 44th but oh well, of reading the bible. :) And Thank God i still haven't missed a day. I am still excited to read his words everyday. i can't wait to read the lives of the great man and woman of God :) So as of the  last post , where i have finished reading the book of Exodus, today i am now in the book of Leviticus. i just read Chapter 13 for this day. As all or some of you may know, the book of Leviticus contains the set of Laws that were given to the Israelites. I knew right before that there is really a downtime in the bible like this book of leviticus which is full of laws and the book of numbers which will be full of, of course, numbers. But surprisingly I am surviving it! Their laws are actually logical. like how would they separate the one with infectious diseases etc. Their laws were not merely "just because God wanted to" but some do have scientific basis on them. Though i must admit, the...

DAY 37!

click here for the last post :) before the actual update on what had happened in the bible, i want to thank the LORD for a wonderful January and for not letting me miss a day on my bible reading :) He made a way :) so here after a month i have been through a lot! wow! it's only february and i can see God s faithfulness and awesomeness :) from the last post I was done reading the giving of The Ten Commandments and after 9 days of reading i am now DONE with the book of EXODUS :) time flies so much when you are having fun. though i must admit that the latter part of exodus is a bit boring. Anyway after the giving of the ten commandments is the requirements of the Lord to be done by the Israelites. and wonderfully enough at the end of Exodus, after all what they have done it says "as the Lord has commanded them" meaning they have done everything according to the commands of God :) From the last post I was already in Matthew Chapter 18 and today I am now done with Chapt...

I am now in Matthew Chapter 18. Just finished with the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant that taught me to really Forgive my neighbors as the Lord had forgiven me :) In connection with UST's 400th year, and how UST is the oldest University in Asia. THE B...

day 21

hey ya'll! :) sorry i haven't posted anything in a while. just finished exams week! :) ---i say this as if there's really people anticipating anything :P--- So it's finally day 21 and i am so proud to report that i have finished! the book of genesis :P today i officially started the book of exodus reading its first 3 chapters. i must say. my life has been a lie! -sorry the rain got me all dramatic- but seriously! i feel like i have been deceived ruthlessly or something. as i read the first 3 chapters of exodus, i found out that.... the movie "Ten Commandments" is NOT TRUE at ALL ! i thought it was a direct translation of how it happened in the bible but it is NOT ! the movie would have been not that long if it were to follow the bible faithfully . ANYWAY. after the  last post , i have been through the: the life of Jacob the life of Joseph the dreamer The death of Jacob and Joseph and eventually everyone else. The Israelites being oppressed in Egypt T...
